Real Madrid C. F. and Gonzalo García have agreed to extend the contract of our player, who remains linked to the club for the next five seasons, until 30 June 2030.
Gonzalo García joined Real Madrid in 2014 when he was just 10 years old and has been part of our youth academy for ten seasons, playing the last two with Castilla. He made his debut with the first team in November 2023, participating in the league title won that season. In the last Club World Cup he was the top scorer of the tournament and FIFA included him in the ideal eleven.
Last season, Gonzalo scored 25 goals for Castilla, making him the top scorer in the Primera Federación since its creation. With that figure, he equalled the best regular season record as Castilla’s top scorer in the 21st century. In addition, he won the treble with the Juvenil A in the 2022-2023 season (League, Copa del Rey and Champions Cup) and the Copa del Rey in the 2021-2022 season.
