There was no better way to say goodbye than winning the Undécima. After 7 years being part of the first team of Real Madrid, Álvaro Arbeloa leaves the club with a big smile.
Real Madrid beat Atlético de Madrid 5-3 on penalties in the Champions League final, after 1-1 full-time score.
This is the second Champions League title that Arbeloa wins as Real Madrid player, the eighth title since he returned in 2009 to the Spanish club: 2 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Supercup, 1 La Liga, 2 Copa del Rey and 1 Spain Supercup.
When Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winning goal, fans at San Siro got crazy. Real Madrid players and technical team did celebrate at first at the locker room. Then, they did it so in front of their supporters.
